John Kirby Fencing designs, builds and installs gates, which means we are one-stop-shop wooden gate suppliers. Softwood Gates
We normally supply pressure treated softwood gates, but we can source alternative timbers as required. We supply wooden gates in all shapes and sizes and design and supply bespoke gates as required. Hardwood Gates
We normally supply and fit either Iroko gates or seasoned oak gates, both with oak fixing posts. These hardwood gates are long lasting and will look good for many years to come.

Timber Care
Softwood timber gates, properly looked after can last for many years.They should be treated simply by painting with a good quality, exterior wood preserver. Treated softwood gates do not need treating for many years, but if you want a change of colour they can be painted at any time.
Hardwood timber gates should be treated annually with a quality wood preserving oil or hardwood timber sealant. |
